Love is based all upon sincerity. But sometimes, it is people willing to respect you that matter more than the love you expect them to reward you with.
Respect is the least degree of love i.e. it is a chunk of real love.
To me, respect is more important than Love.
^ But that doens't mean real love doesn't exit, It does. you just have to wait till you find some such person.
