The rules for drinking water according to weight are-

To know how much water, you need to drink every day, you need to know your weight first. How much water you should drink depends on your weight. That is, if your weight is 45 kg, then the amount of water required to be consumed will change if your weight is 90 kg. Divide your weight by 2 to find the water intake.

For example, if you weigh 170 pounds (77 kilograms), you need to drink 170/2 = 85 ounces (2.5 liters) of water per day.

What is the harm of drinking too much water?

  1. Drinking too much water can cause symptoms like fatigue and headache.

  3. Many times, the body retains excess water, which leads to weight gain.
