Your Idea Is Worth Nothing Without This.. Action
Hey steemitians,
Sharone Kelly here,
I have two important questions I want YOU to ask yourself...
Q1: How many ideas have you had this year so far?
and...
Q2: Did you turn those ideas into a reality?
If you're like most people, those ideas were burning passionately inside you, keeping you awake at night, and getting your friends and family hyped up.
However, that idea eventually burned out. Sound familiar? Where lies the gap between idea and reality?...
Is it because they're bad ideas? Is it because they've been replaced by better ideas?
Is it because you finally realized an idea takes more than just an idea?
I realized, an idea is absolutely nothing until you make something happen and Thomas Edison couldn't agree more when he said, "The value of an idea lies in the using of it."
How do you "use" your idea?
Here's the simple flow I experiment with...
Idea >> Service/Product >> Marketing/Distribution >> Optimize >> Rinse/Repeat
Ultimately, getting your message out there and letting the market decide whether you should scale your idea or kill it, is key.
Don't have a good idea yet?
No worries...
But - Linus Pauling ones says: "The best way to have a good idea is to have lots of ideas."
Stay strong,
Sharone.
P.S. Remember, not all ideas can be winners. That's why it's important to weed out the bad ones fast, so you can focus on scaling the good ideas.
