Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 21/10/2023.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 7 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 21/10/2023.

October 2023 Today wasn't as bad to get out of bed as it seemed like it the cold eased up a bit, but it wasn't as pleasant compared to yesterday. There really wasn't any time for me to get much of anything done this morning as I had to get in for work but at least I still had a few extra minutes to lay in bed and have breakfast without rushing. The weather remained relatively pleasant as I made my way to work. Since I was in a little later than usual for a morning shift I managed to skip most of the hassles that come with the morning shift. I was mostly just left to it today which was great as I was feeling still a little tired from meeting with friends yesterday. I do wonder how the recruitment day went as they spent practically the whole day shut in their offices seeing people and doing interviews. As from what I saw most didn't even bother to dress up for their interviews and meetings. I remember we had a rule that if you walked in with jeans you better be impressive or your out. I think these days so many people don't bother that they just hire them regardless of this rule. Still can't believe the other day while doing my tasks I was suddenly and very surprisingly stopped by a superior who wanted to search me. It's very rare for them to do this and normally when they do I catch wind of it but this was however very abrupt. I had things on me while at one of the back sections that I shouldn't and thought "dam!" I'm going to get into so much trouble. He asked me if I ha anything on me that I shouldn't? Instead of replying I started by patting my pockets and started with the pocket that had my work pod and a chocolate, dreading to empty out the other pockets he told me to never mind as he knew I wouldn't of been breaking any of the rules anyway and walked away. That was extremely lucky and strange as he also continued to look back at me as I guess I didn't reply and continued working in hope of not causing anymore suspicion. The 2nd thing that really bothered me that day was that once again I had been caught in the middle of a cross fire between the 2 superiors who can't seem to get on with each other. So I done a task from the list set by one of the superiors but was later in the day being attacked behind my back for how it was done by the other superior. I'm honestly getting annoyed by how again I have been put in the middle of this war between them as it's not my fault they don't "1" communicate with each other and "2" don't communicate it back down to staff correctly. I was really glad to get out from that toxic energy again. Started to consider wearing a thinker layer underneath but still thought I might get too hot at work which for now is the case and now today was also suddenly warmer than usual. The forecasters were right about the sudden drop of temperature a little heating as had to be used at home and it's insane seeing the cost of energy instantly double. The government really does want it's people to suffer the cold however it's been said we are still to get the heatwave they promised. I honestly don't believe it, and while it did get warm again previously I wouldn't of called it exactly a heatwave. This sudden drop in temperature was only suppose to happen once we hit November but I knew it would happen sooner. During the night the temperature can still do a big drop so I was a little worried one of the cats decided she wanted to stay out all night and most of today. I thought she was going to spend another night out but luckily she came home about 3 hours. I thought she would be freezing cold but but actually she seemed just fine which is a relief. Being October I usually kind of dread this time of year as there are always more birthdays and events happening. Some years I'm very prepared for these birthdays while other years not so much, this time it's been a bit stressing. Had some long distant family who also have birthdays in October...so had to send out a few messages out to them hoping to hear the end of it but unfortunately they have continued to message me with some links they want me to look at. Banks will be putting more limits on how much cash your allowed to withdraw per day and annually in a obvious step towards a cashless society. Their excuse as per usual for doing this is to "protect" you. Perhaps it would be of interest to convert some money to crypto instead as it can provide at least less restrictions, Steem would be a nice place to start. As for Steem since around April 2022 we had a big fall that took it down to £0.14 but with such a large fall this helped us on collecting more Steem. It was this drop in price that was "one" of the key factors that helped us on reaching our main goal for 2023. Our goal was to finally reach Orca which means holding 50k Steem Power, would you believe this as been a 6 year project that was realised earlier this year on July 21th. If your looking for Steem to be a success or just looking to earn more you should vote mostly on those who do not power down. Powering down lowers the value of Steem, meaning it lowers the value of your investment and even the Steem that your earning from posting. On Steemit there are still issues happening with the "replies page" after what was believed to be a attempted hack. Content is not loading past the first page, this is mostly on the "replies" page. But I believe the other issues are fixed. I hope the Steemit Team are still looking into resolving this issue. Please keep in mind and be aware that these problems can cause issues on selecting our winners.
