Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 31/5/2021.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for now over 4 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average daily STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 31/5/2021.

Here we are at the end of May my hope was that the weather would get better compared to some of the frosty days last month, but I must of been wishing for crazy things as for most of May it ended up being cold in the mornings and the late evenings with almost daily random rainfalls all over the place. But finally this past week as been much more pleasant and on certain occasions even hot, today was such a day. Since one of my superiors left the company I have worked less volatile shifts and I'm really enjoying it this way, I can't even express how much it improves many things for me with my day to day life. Today had work it was a slightly longer shift than the usual and I must say I was a little worried on what exactly my boss was going to have me do on this shift, firstly because I had a strange set time and I had already seen on the rota that I was going to be working on something different. Some suggested it was probably newbie teaching which would of been fine but turns out my boss wanted me to do some of the old jobs I used to do and mostly enjoyed but turns out the workload never happened and so I just done my usual work today which was awesome news for me. So I mention a colleague would of been leaving soon but was appointed as the "Wellbeing" colleague only recently, to which I thought was really odd if she was about to leave. Well I hadn't seen her in like a week and it turned out she had already left, shame really as she also knew one of my friends from outside of work. After work I have been taking the longer way home but since being unwell I had to stop, I have now started doing this again and was surprised by how quiet it was out, I really didn't expect to take the longer way home today as I had completed my step count at work, but I felt I needed more time away from working and so took the long way which was again nicely quiet. As with this lockdown regardless of still working during it I noticed some personal weight gain, and so I have continued to try and shed some of the weight off with small daily workouts and now steps. I will continue to do so until either work get's too hectic again or when everything opens up which is unfortunately around the same time of both these things. I was pleased to finally notice some of the weight shifting at the beginning of May, still there is a long way to go. I missed a whole bunch of workout days since I felt unwell, but I don't think it made a difference "luckily". I had to break from the workouts the other day because work was so long and because of that muscle I had pulled on my neck plus the warm weather, I done the workout for 2 days but today is really hot for working out so I might still do it later but might have to miss today I'm beginning to think I need that fan I want to buy but I hear it will be raining in a few more days. I managed the 112k steps goal last week and now today we hit 20k and so total for the week is 37k. When I get more time I want to check how this phone handles the "Actifit app for Steem", I tried once before but my phone just wouldn't take it and heard many also had similar problems, but alot as improved since then, but I do also like how simple this little app is that I'm using right now, it's very convenient for me but we shall see. I also can't believe that once again a online buyer is trying to take my money without sending me my items so I'm going to again go through the process of getting my money back which will take a few days.

As for Tron I started by learning some of the basics, I then looked into "Tron Stacking" and done a few votes with my frozen Tron and after a few days I went back to check on these votes. I noticed that I had successfully earned a little Tron, well a whole $0.01 lol. I tried again and made $0.09 worth of Tron, I recently checked again and it done a nice jump as I now made $0.22 Tron. I hope to reach gains of $0.30 soon and so will see if I can get hold of more Tron so that I can upvote again and increase my Tron earnings.

For the moment I will watch Steem as it's started to fall again meaning if it goes down low enough I will try and buy a bigger amount, but shame really as not long ago we saw Steem hit $1.30+ for a 2nd time this year. Perhaps we wont see Steem fall back to $0.16 this year and so could this mean time is running out for the gathering of cheap Steem? Many thought Steem would hit $1.00 by June but actually on March 30th we hit $1.00 already, we experienced a fall after but there was some good recovery and so we beat the record again for the year. In April we took another hit a larger one, there as been some recovery and Steem held above $1.00, but falling a 3rd time after hitting 1.00+. The prediction from many on here is that Steem will hit $3.50 for the summer season and we are now seeing some recovery but with Bitcoins falling.. will Steem bounce back? Since the price as gone down I have at least been earning more Steem and that is exciting for when and if it does go back up again. Also the Steemit Crypto Academy is now on it's 2nd season and as really gained some momentum after it's break as many people have continued joining in for their weekly updates and doing all the "homework tasks". Did you know you are actually allowed to follow as many of the courses as you want? Which you could be rewarded for by taking part in with upvotes from the steemcurator01 or steemcurator02 accounts. You can go here Steemit Academy to learn who are the professors and some of the new rules, as the Academy is basically one of the most educative programs running on Steemit with professors on different topics within the cryptoverse. Also the Steemit Country Representatives have been doing a good job on getting former users active on Steemit and new users on their feet, I have always thought the Steemit Country Representatives could grow the userbase and here we are, the steemcurator account's are done looking into the new Country Representatives and you can learn who are the new representative here Country Representatives

💚We saw in April STEEM almost reached $1.45 but unfortunately even with the insane 💰$40000 Bitcoin prices and yep Doge coins gone UP... STEEM as continued to not yet move much, which is a shame as people should be investing into this great coin as you can do so much more with it. But when was the last time you saw Steem at $1.00!? Well it was the downfall back in Sept 2018, yeah that's a long time to wait to see those kind of heights again but at least this time Steem didn't stray too far for long when it went below $1 and so let's hope the same is to happen this time around as Steem falls. The lowest Steem price this year as been $0.15 and the highest $1.43 which broke this years record on April 11th, the previous record for the year was on April 2th at $1.38. It would be nice to see if this year Steem can at least hold above $0.17 for most of 2021 so far it's going well. Still this brings opportunity as it's a good price to "power-up" your account, I don't say this as a way to improve your financial situation but rather to enjoy the benefits of having Steem, like speeding up your account's Steem accumulation or how much Tron you gain plus other general tasks within the blockchain etc.

✺ The covid19 madness continues with us slowly coming out of lockdown as the government continues with it's roadmap for opening-up all sectors at the end of next month👍. But there are warnings of possible delays to this happening " Wow what a surprise..!". The government often stated we done well listening to their rules for staying indoors but for months ✺ I have seen people out everywhere, it made headlines in the papers many times to which I wondered if this would affect when we are to FULLY open in June, apparently not 🤷‍♂️ but with the new variant ✺ we just might. The government did say that there will be no more lockdowns 👍 and that we must treat the covid virus like a common flu, which doesn't surprise me as people who had it "who I know personally" said it was like having the flu but it seems that "no more lockdowns" might not happen.. The mass vaccination process continues.. it's said that now more than 60 million had their first jab and those who are 30 and above are now getting theirs done. More opened since the 17th with people being allowed into venues in small groups, along with more travel options.. well kinda. They said even if you do travel and are vaccinated you will still need to quarantine..? ✺ With the "possible" complete end of lockdown approaching there are arguments going on about whether or not after we open if it should still be a requirement to wear masks? Yet it seems the kids will get a free pass on the issue, but there are certain schools who are fighting to keep children wearing masks. The government wants to give employers powers to sack staff who refuse to be vaccinated, which I don't see how that is giving people a choice..🤷‍♂️? The most effective vaccine was said to be around %95 effective but it's also been reported to be far less and I have seen the government often state that they "even after all this testing" don't know exactly how effective it is against the virus. But apparently it seems to be common knowledge now that the vaccine doesn't stop you from getting covid it just stops you from maybe death. ✺ And so they keep pushing for people to take it and perhaps many more jabs for all the different variants, plus a top up yearly one. How will our bodies react to so much of this stuff being pumped into us I wonder? These companies are rolling in our money👍. Remember they firstly said this was a "cure" but then said it would protect you for up to 9 months, later it was only for 5 months.. and now it just stops deaths. Scientists have told us even with the vaccine you can still catch covid and you can still pass it on to others, seems people are finally learning it's possible. I have been told by friends who's parents had their jabs done that even the nurses will tell you that this "doesn't mean your fully protected". It did seem very rushed and why aren't we doing this for all the other thing's that are killing even more people? I saw a graph published from a paper news site that for once showed us the number of people who recovered from covid and it basically indicated there is mostly a %97 chance of survival in most places, and as for the deaths if you took the number of people who normally die from other things, the covid numbers were indeed strangely similar to those, and so I guess it could be possible that they were replacing the cause of death from other things to covid. The vaccine minister wanted people to take the vaccine or get shut out from society, meaning you wouldn't be able to buy food, attend a school, watch movies at the cinema or travel anywhere, to which I then don't see how exactly this would be giving the public a choice?🤷‍♂️ He changed his mind about that statement but basically news came out back in April that they were going ahead with this plan, but because of the severe backlash from the idea it might be now only a "temporary plan" and only to be used at bigger events, yeah funny how that works... So perhaps still in the pipeworks as Mr Bill Gates is said to be working on the technological system for a vaccination type passport, also I heard the divorce Bill is having isn't a friendly one. There was news that from June after opening that any clothing stores would require you to have a "Covid Green Pass" to enter, we just received an update that within country at least for now once again Covid Passes will not be used, but businesses are free to request them if they want. There is also much going on with the covid virus in India as it's been causing havoc and apparently spreading to many other countries, hope the people there can find the resources and strength to pull through it. I have worked all during this crisis as our company used a loophole within the system to keep us all working despite our government stating that all non-essential work places must shut-down, I was annoyed by this as I could of done with some time off. I just hope that this coming June I wont have to talk much about covid anymore but my hopes are not too high on that happening just yet...
