Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 5/6/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.

June 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet thankfully. Likely you have already witnessed some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate this season. So who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However that does mean that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors💰. Last night I went to sleep past the usual late hour which is disappointing. This was mostly due to clearing out my phone so that it's ready for it's new extended memory, like this it should keep things a little more organised. When I did try to sleep it wasn't a very pleasant experience as I feel I have gone from having hayfever to the flu and so taking me much longer that usual to drift off, this was because of the continued sore throat and runny nose but more likely the cold. Unlike the past few nights the cold was not a problem, however I did have a extra layer on. Yes this time I had the extra layer on but needed to get another 2 as I was shaking due to I think now this flu. I guess the last time it rained this also caused a lowered temperature it was enough that it was chilly again with some days even looking like it was winter all over again. When I did fall asleep I woke-up way before my alarm, this happened because my cat was knocking on my door very early but unfortunately it was then that I came to the realization I didn't have the strength to get out of bed at all. I mostly I went back to sleep, I then woke-up to the scheduled alarm which was set for later than usual so that I could try and get sufficient sleep. Today was laundry day I needed to get my work things washed and so somehow got the strength to get out of bed to put that on before going back to bed. I also continued to rest way past the alarm as I wanted plenty of rest to fight the possibility of getting unwell. As for the weather this morning it's really trying to push past the miserable dark cloudy morning, I'm not sure if it will succeed, in one way I hope it doesn't as I want to be rid of these hayfever symptoms. They told us on the forecast that once that remaining dull weather passed us over a week ago that it would be 3 months of solid heatwaves, their story then changed to "it will only happen in June". Well it's not happened and I had very little confidence in that statement as the weather is very dynamic around here. It was a very very very late start to the day as I was basically bed bound, even opening my eyes was painful and it would make my head hurt. I was convinced I was going to be bed bound for the day however the trade off was my nose was not as runny and the sore throat had improved to a tolerable state "thank goodness" as that is what drives me to most crazy. I'm sure glad I haven't had work to be in for but annoyed I'm spending my time off being unwell, my day only started in the mid afternoon where I managed to get a few things done, but I wasn't going to push it as I was getting tired very easily. I tried doing a few things to feel better but I don't feel like it's made much difference, still I was hoping to be better enough giving me the chance on getting some basic chores done. When I was in work last a superior on my floor kept coughing and saying how much dust is on this floor and while that is true I don't think it's the dust that makes you cough. It's a substance that comes from the ventilators that seems to dry your mouth. I wouldn't be too surprised if it future that gives me health issues, heck that may even be part as to why I have the symptoms I have now. I was hoping to see my my colleague who had been doing he's training "so that he is able to get the extra work set for us" he admitted to me how difficult the work is and how he should be getting more help. I didn't get around to asking him but wonder if he will now quit wanting to have anything to do with that part the job? I still need to look into that memory card for my phone which I hope will be compatible. The plan is to carry some music and perhaps a few movies if possible for any trips I may have to make but I was just too unwell. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the value of Steem I still believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on creating better content but rather on how the site and the token is valued. Again not by it's content but instead by holding Steem, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point of having alpha testers. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN or a download site, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
