Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 7/1/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Jan 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on December 17th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to organising things for the next online meet up with friends. When I did try to sleep there was no difficulty, this is from being slightly unwell and being at work. I woke-up 20 mins to my scheduled alarm likely because of my sore throat getting worse, I went back to sleep only to wake at my scheduled alarm which was pointless. Most mornings I'm resting past the alarm, sometimes I'm not going to sleep early enough, while other times the cooler temperature is making getting out of bed a struggle. For the weather this morning it was a little brighter, the sky was cloudy, no sign of rainfall after two mornings of rain, temperature wise it was cold right from the start, this was even with the heating being on. It was a late start but not a problem for me because I only had work later in the day, and like this I still had time for chores and a few other things. I done what I could, and with my free time over I ate breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work I took some plastics with me to dispose, it was no doubt cold, no surprise with the snowfall we had recently and the promise of more to arrive tomorrow at some point. When I got to work I was not looking forward to being in charge of the extra work, mostly because of how cold it was today. I still double checked on rota only to see that instead of doing one week of early shifts I'm now doing 2 weeks argh 🤢. While doing this I looked at what time the extra work was set with the other guy and unfortunately I had no time to prepare. I still tried but as I done that the guy I'm working with already showed up wanting to get started. Fortunately unlike the guy rushing yesterday this one was friendly and calm. The fools next door at least made it easier for me today but that still doesn't meant "because of having no time to prepare" that I didn't feel like I was doing 20 different things at the same time. However what made it better for me was that the workload for this shift was actually pitiful, but I rather have that then a lot. I completed the work with the guy in record time and so once he left I could take things easier because I still had plenty of time of my shift left. And so I don't know why some of the others were still rushing with such a easy job to deal with. We had enough done that by the time the rest of the team arrived I honestly didn't see much point. I'm not responsible for having the work completed by tonight as I get out earlier so it will be down to them. Thankfully before I got too fed up it soon came round the time for me to escape work😁. On the way home it had already turned dark, it was clear the kids had returned to school, why are they still out is a good question but parents don't seem to care these days, especially since it was honestly freezing out. Once I got home I had little time to get started with chores before having to meet with friends online. I honestly don't know how I managed it yesterday to get so much more done than I did today. But unlike yesterday I did turn up earlier, everybody showed up which I didn't expect. Because it was split it was difficult to tell on how much progress was made but some is better than none. For the quick work-outs 42 days since my last one but they are going to have to wait even longer because of what I think is another flu trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I check-in with my father, then I settled for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 22 Week 4 is underway this is a opportunity for users to learn and earn STEEM. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
