Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 2/1/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Jan 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on December 17th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep at the usual late hour, this was mostly due to organising space for the next online meet up with friends. When I did try to sleep there was no difficulty, I was still so tired from the New Years night out event. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm which is what I want. Most mornings I'm resting past the alarm, sometimes I'm not going to sleep early enough, while other times the cooler temperature is making getting out of bed a struggle. For the weather this morning it was bright, the sky was relatively clear, with some decent sunshine, temperature wise it was just about comfortable. It was a late start for me but on purpose, I was annoyed at myself first but then I realised I needed a lot of rest after that night out. The late start was not a problem for me because I only had work later in the day, like this I still had time for chores and to get a few other things done. I done what I could, and with my free time over I ate breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it was still cold regardless of seeing some decent sunshine, there was a lot of traffic which I found to be odd. When I got to work I was not looking forward to being in charge of the extra work today for the first day of work for the year. I dreaded it would be a lot but had doubts it would be and also worried the guy would already be waiting on me. Well I was not wrong about the guy already waiting because one of the superiors was quick to tell me. However the good thing was the work load was not much, plus the guy I was working with is good. I had to rush to get the paperwork done which I was not pleased with but I was more annoyed at all the stuff that once again was left for me to deal with, they are seriously doing it on purpose and for that reason I will only clear half of it or just under. Like I mentioned already thankfully the work is not a lot however we found ourselves close to our time limit with still much to be done which shouldn't of been the case at all but we had a guy on our team today who was just doing nothing. I found it odd because he normally is pretty decent but only found out towards the end of shift it was he's last day working with us. Of course being the last day he put minimal effort which I don't blame him for since he is likely annoyed to be out of a job now. I think my superior also caught on to this because if she was going to give me trouble I had plenty of evidence to prove I was not to blame for the work not being completed. To be honest I was not worried for the whole shift about it not being completed on time but the superior clearly was it's kind of funny how they seem more worried about it these days then the normal staff, regardless I was right we had it finished with still another 30 minutes to spare. During that time there was a still few more things they wanted me to get done but it soon came round to escape work. On the way home it was already dark and honestly very cold some of the old were struggling. Once I got home I was to late to get started with any chores, for the quick work-outs I'm recovering from the night out and from being slightly unwell and so hope to try and get one done soon after missing 37 days. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I check-in with my father, then I settled for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 22 Week 3 is underway this is a opportunity for users to learn and earn STEEM. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
