My personal experience

Ever since I have been in this site, I have seen lots and lots of posts get like a lot of money, but in reality this is people just following trends, which would be awesome but once you realize that this "trend" is no more than people following whales around trying to get whales attention it really becomes a great concern at least it is for me, and it should be for all of us, so my intention with this post is to remind people that this is a content sharing platform and as one of many, we should all bring content of interest for the steemit people.

Are people really into this introduce yourself stories?

If your answer is yes, great you are getting just what you want, but what if the answer is no and you are just following this trend, then I invite all of the "no" to come here and share your likes and interests maybe someone really knows about it, or is just the perfect guy for the job and will bring that content to the site, it's a win win situation where we all get what we want.

Steemit is a social media platform, remember?

We all come here for the great oportunity this platform has to offer, but remember we are a content sharing site, if you want to make money then great go on a find a pattern in the whales voting, or just randomly comment on this or other post, but if we want this to last, then we are somehow going to need all the average people outside from the cryptocurrency world, if we keep the content so self-centered then they are not going to come here, and we are all going to be stuck here with the same kind of content.

1 upvote vs 100 upvotes

This is a point that I had in mind for the past week, What is worth more, 1 upvote or 100 upvotes? and I don't mean it in a monetary way, because the answer is obvious a huge upvote is worth more, but for content creators what is more important? I really would love to hear your opinion on this area, that's the main reason I decided to make this post, many people have a lot of ideas for making great content, but they end up not doing it, why? because they don't think it will grab the attention of the big ones, but they should do it, this site should make everyone express freely their opinions, create and imagine new things to share, but then why is it that most of the content is so similiar? please show us what you can do, show what you love, and don't be afraid to be creative, because in the end, you wanted to share something with the community and you did even if that 100 of upvotes is not making you steemillionare you are getting your voice out for the world to listen.

What if all I want is some cash oportunities?

Well then it's your lucky day, steemit has a lot to offer and it has a great trade market, it has little to no trading fees, and a volatility that every trader would dream of, just get yourself to it and enjoy, however there is something you should have in consideration, bring you A game and your best strategy because the trading game is hard with the 777 guy, go on and challenge this club with your own strategies.
