How to make income from Steemit?

I think my question is same as many new steemitans. As you know,I am a newbee and I have just joined for 2-3 months. I believe we can make income with steemit together by voting and comment.
I try to improve my post both form and content. However, I recognize that my vote and comment don't increase significantly.
So, I decide to make this post. Hope you will help me to do right.
