Once upon a time in a big city there lived a rich indian merchant. When one day he traveled in caravan across the desert, his party was attacked by thieves. They left him alive but took everything else with them.

He would surely have died in the desert if it werent for 2 passengers that came by in the evening. He asked them for help and promised that he will repay them once they reach the city. The passengers had just enough food and water for 3 people to reach the city. They agreed that they will turn the amount of food into portions. The first passenger had 5 portions and the second 3. Each portion was worth 3000 STEEM.

They went to sleep and in the morning they continued their journey. During the trip they shared food in equal protions. Just before they reached the city they ate the last protion. The merchant then repaid his rescuers as promised.
