Entries have nothing to do with voting on Steemball posts. How It Works

You send .10 SBD (Steem Dollars), pick a number between 1 - 26, and if that is the Red Powerball number picked on the Saturday Powerball lottery you share the portion of the pool of people who chose the same number. Or keep it all if you are the lone winner. The above transactions are transparent on the Steemid blockchain as well as the Powerball drawing so there is no way to rig the drawing.

The lottery will be based on the US Powerball drawing each Saturday. The deadline for each Saturday game is 2100 UTC or 1700 EST. Any entries that are posted one second after that time according to steemd.com will be applied to the next Saturday’s game, no exceptions.

With multiple entries ties are not only possible but very likely. Winnings will be divided among winners based upon shares. A share equals .10 SBD. If there are 1000 entries that means that the pool is 100 SBD and if 2 people win they will split the pot at 50 SBD a piece, etc.

FAQ

• Why don’t you just do entries by voting? – Voting is highly inequitable. Each person’s vote caries a different economic value
• Why is an entry only .10 SBD? This give anybody a chance to buy an entry.
• Can I buy more than one entry? Yes, you can buy multiples of .10 of SBD all the way to 1 SBD for an individual number. You can buy unlimited entries for each number you wish to buy. One number per 1 SBD. You can send each multiple entry up to 1 SPD to @steemball with the same number.
• How do you keep track of entries? You must mention your number in the memo when you send you SBD to @steemball. If not the entry is invalid. No second messages to correct mistakes. You must send number with initial SBD!
• Does all of the SBD sent to @steemball go to the winners? Yes
• How do you make money or is this a charity? Hopefully, entrants will vote on my weekly posts and or announcements. I am providing a valuable and unique service to the community. No, this isn't a charity nor am I doing this for free. I'm a Steemit entrepreneur.
• How do I know you want take our SBD and run? You really don’t. There is a certain level of trust you are going to have in me. Every transaction will be on the steemd.com blockchain so it will be easy to see if I’m skimming off the top. By paying winners every week you will gain confidence that this is the real deal. • Entries without the above mentioned required info will be put into the weekly pool and entrant will not be eligible for lottery.
• If there are no winners all SBD will be rolled over to the next week and so forth until there is a winner.
• Lottery winners will be paid as soon as practical. Within a day of lottery drawing would be considered practical.
• I reserve the right to promote the @steamball lottery however I see fit. Repeating information, rules, FAQs etc. may be necessary. This should not be considered spam but presenting information to people who have not seen this information before. I will be mindful not to abuse the system.
