Week # 24 is from Monday June 12, 2017 until (and including) Sunday June 18, 2017. Pay Week # 1

This is the first week for Steem Sea, in fact its been a few days not a full week and wow what a week! We have been met with so many people thanking us for putting together Steem Sea. We know that promotion wise, there are not that many options that lets old and new posts be regularly found by Steemit members who also want to get their posts seen, upvote and earn some money.

Some interesting stats: On Steemit, we have 33 followers in a few short days. On http://www.SteemSea.stream there are now 11 members 85 views of Steemit posts has happened 16 Steemit posts are now available on Steem Sea!

This week, there has been no payments in for WATER coin but there has been a donation by @bottymcbotface for 0.001 STEEM DOLLARS. As such the pool of earnings is too small to divide to everyone, so what we are going to do is look at the account with the highest amount of WATER coin and give them the payment!

Notes: 100 WATER coins awarded to @ervin-lemark due to problem with - dashes in username. @rarcntv should also be awarded 100 coins as he has notified us of some bugs which has to also be added to the bugs log but due to only being notified recently, would not make sense to send 100, though considering that we are giving out the 0.001 donation from @bottymcbotface it may have been a good idea but didn't see the point as no action could have been taken to add posts to promote, etc and have a shift in those 100 awarded coins.

What Happens Next?: Steem Sea has moved into PMW (Payment Maintenance Window) and the site is now unavailable while we log everyones WATER coins. As soon as we have a log, then this will be added as a comment, and will be added here also. The highest WATER coin count will get the 0.001 STEEM DOLLARS. If we had members buy WATER coin to promote posts then the pool of earnings would have been split according to your holding of WATER coin, excluding @steemsea

Bugs, Concerns and Changes: @rarcntv made a point about a bug, namely that the promoted posts page does not list the posts you added and so he couldn't purchase WATER coin till that shows. He also brought up about when you add a campaign to promote a post credits disappear. Actually in that what is happening is that you have effectively placed your order and Steem Sea removes those WATER coins from your balance to fund the cost of the campaign so there are no issues there that we can see.

@kozan was going to buy WATER coins but has concern over if he purchases credits, especially with site being new and not many members toward the end of the week, on payments time credits would be reset and would lose out. The solution is that adding all your posts for the week will remove those WATER coins from your account. Once following week comes any posts still waiting to show up will show up as those coins are allocated. We believe that this is the process that you will see, but as Steem Sea is new, we will make sure any purchased WATER coins are protected in case there are issues; after all, if it ain't for the WATER coin buyers, Steem Sea could not function.

We have seen some people speak about timer being too short. One option is to pause the timer, take action and then refresh page. You should see the same page you were on. Then let timer run its 30 seconds to be awarded. This actually works and allows a quick way to skip posts you don't like or was simply upvoting. But with big posts and slow internet, Steem Sea users could have problems, so we propose changing from 30 seconds to anywhere from 1 minutes to 2 minutes. Please let us know your view on this? Is it easy enough and better to pause and refresh page or should we move higher and if so, to what amount?
