RE: EARTH DAY - Why Should We Pay Attention?

in #steemit5 years ago

I hear people saying 'there is nothing we can do', but a lot of individual actions can make a difference. We in the rich west/north are really taking more than our fair share of resources and have to set an example before preaching to others.

Sort:

I have felt that way for a long time. While I predominately feel that we should 'set the example' I think there are too many things in the fire right now. 'We' do have other issues we need to get 'fixed' before we can continue forth as a country.

This is the biggest reason I love Steemit. It's not local. We all have friends all over the world. I do think of Steemians as world citizens so if one part of the world can share their thoughts and opinions to another, the exchange, the dialogue is what starts change.

Thank you so much for visiting @steevc I say this a lot. I really do love it when there is a 'conversation' on any topic. It's how we learn and grow.

The conversations are a vital part of Steem for me. I enjoy getting comments from people even if they cannot give much of a vote
