I checked out thehour.com and it's a pretty small local news site, but the article is from entrepreneur.com. That is a lot bigger and so a few more people will have heard about Steemit/Steem.
I was reading about tiktok and it seems that is mega massive, although I have zero experience of it. If Steem could get 1% of its audience it would be progress.
