RE: A call to separation of powers in Steemit
I've just started producing science articles in order to reduce the probability that my post will induce whale flags. Sad, but true. Perhaps in the future, I will be writing the truth again. ? Big question mark.
Indeed it’s very sad, I have faced a similar situation earlier when I was posting photography, everything was fine until all hell broke loose on me and the first flagging campaign started. You can find out more details in this post.
Even though I was not convinced what I was doing was wrong like the authority had decided, and I wanted to continue posting external content to enrich this platform, like it’s done on all similar platforms I decided to switch my posts to stats to avoid controversy which I thought was not in the best interest of the platform at the time.
Everything was fine again for a little while, then the flagging restarted, this time claiming the reward for my posts was too high according to a single person.
So moral of the story is that when you are successful and people like your work, you will definitely attract envious individuals who will do their worst to get you flagged and get your work belittled and ruined.
I have been encouraged by your previous comments on my discontinuing stats posts post to continue my work regardless of the oppression that is unjustified flagging. I hereby ask you the same, don’t give in to the chilling and intimidation that aims to silence you.
It’s truly liberating and empowering to be able to speak freely, I hope all efforts will be made to grant freedom of speech and thought to the people here. Otherwise it will be the end.
Keep it up @stellabelle!
Never steer away from truth. What's the point of this whole thing if that's what it has turned into? If truth is not rewarded here, then fuck this whole platform. Let it die if that's the case.
