RE: Steemit Update [ April 17th, 2024 ] : Community Curators for May - Applications Open

in #steemit7 months ago (edited)

respected @steemitblog Sir ,
Although I am not yet eligible for the curator post, but for your information, I want to draw your attention to the warning given in the last paragraph of this post. And I also want to satisfy my curiosity in this regard.

I am quoting the post below.
Finally we would like to remind everyone that they should not contact the Community Curators asking for votes, or to be selected as a Post of the Week. Anyone found doing this may be barred from receiving any @steemcurator0x or @booming votes.

I don't understand why the post inviting applications for curators contains a warning like general members, whereas when a curator is selected, he himself becomes a powerful and rewarding person. Why would he ask for votes from any other curator or request to include his post in the list of weekly best posts.

If there is no inconvenience in answering,I apologize for the inconvenience. then please answer this question yourself. I will be grateful to you.

Thanks for asking this question as it will answer to few others too who might be willing to know the answer. This is not for curators but since this process of selection is open, users know the names of curators and also where to contact them. Some users with vested interests approach the curators and they either ignore them or they end up on the blacklist. I hope you now know why the Steem Blog warns the users in advance!

hello sir @dove11,
Thank You very much for this valuable information.
