Question | How Much Curation Reward Goes To The Author vs Curators

After reading this I'm not sure I fully understand how the curation works, but what I get out of it is that if an author submits a story and clicks the auto upvote button;
Would that mean all further curation rewards goes to the author like the snip below shows
If a post is upvoted the moment of posting, 100% of the curation reward goes to the author.
Or simply his vote would be worth 100% curation to himself and anyone else who votes instantly/before 3mins gives up 100% of the reward to the author.
And say you vote 15 mins after the story is published your vote gives the the curator a 50/50 split with the author or is the curation calculated from the first up-vote.
My question is if the author auto-votes or votes before 3mins does this eliminate all potential curation rewards for all following upvotes.
