The issue here is pretty simple but very difficult for most people to accept.

Guys, the entire point is that Steem is not money.

Steem is Currency. Self-eSteem. Steemit can only fail, like you're saying, if us users fail to innerstand the difference between money and steem. Steem represents charged up currency as mirrored back by others in the community.

Money absorbs currency and can be used later as something weaker. Steem is built with love, money is built with fear.

A painful aspect of our current State of collective Mind, is that most people do not hesitate to transfer all their powerful currency to worthless money. Out of fear. We work from love our steem will grow and we need not worry about the confused capitalists, they will catch up to us eventually.

See, all these concerns disappear if We use steemit to its full inherent potential, the way it is designed.. why we all love it. The issue here is a matter of perspective. Truth is the key to "success" on steemit, the exact same key to success in all of life. Keep your battery charged and know money for what it truly is. Always value currency.. your current vibration, level of joy, reputation, all that. Over worthless money ! And all imaginary problems will soon dissolve.
