Open letter question to @anonymint

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

Hello, there is no other way to contact you privately on Steemit or on chat, so please allow us a question in an open letter. Hopefully it is OK when you discuss about Steemit on public forum.
We wanted to ask under the article, but the discussion is frozen. We ask because it is important to know the answer, if we have to take steemit seriously and invest assets here.

Post in question: https://steemit.com/steem/@anonymint/lies-about-steem-and-steemit

Yes we read also the rest including post from today.

Copy of the comment we wanted to post:

Hello @anonymint, how it is nowadays? Thinking of this yours message on bitcointalk, it looks like you did not trusted in steemit, but you keep posting with 595 posts as of today. We would like to ask you what actually made you spend your time on STEEMIT, even when the concerns about steemit.com are publicly known and there are serious questions raised?

Just for example, @steem reportedly deleted transaction history (https://steemit.com/@steem/transfers)

  • how is this possible, to delete a transaction history? Is it some kind of backstairs influence? What do you think of it?

There were also voices talking about pre-mining etc.. What is your honest opinion as you seem to be an insider in the topic?

We believe steemit is a movement forwards, definitely.
But if brands will be worrying about joining because of lack of answers and hot flamewars... then it will have hard times to generate demand for SMD on exchange markets, growing value of it. BTC is where it is because businesses popped up and decided to transform their human and fiat resources into BTC economy - not talking about businesses which grown entirely from BTC economy.

Thanks for your answer and have a nice day!

How we can make steemit trustworthy for businesses?

If there is anybody who is also interested in this, please consider to transfer a small amount of SMD $ to @anonymint with a note including this link.

Thanks.

Act in a trust worthy way?

Nice rhetorical question? :-) This is exactly what is our concern. All kinds of brands will be worried about being in connection with something what is being disputed.. And being silent will not help. Raised questions should be answered by dedicated staff - if there is a power down of big players, and if reason can be getting funds for growth, security etc... there should be also a team focused on cleaning the stairs to make steem serious, answering questions on internet and replying to critique proactively.

Steeming about steemit on steemit will not help steemit at all.

Do you have any opinion on these? We will really appreciate your perspective.

I need to ignore this not because of hiding anything or because I don't want to answer, but simply because I am too busy. I don't have time and I don't think it would productive. Hopefully ou will get most of your answers from my public actions soon...

I am available via private messages at Bitcointalk.org, but I will also ignore that which isn't a high priority and would require too much effort to respond to.

Thanks for wasting your time then.

You are asking me questions which don't have a quick concise answer. And which will require extended back and forth discussion.

No problem, your answer is well appreciated and is understandable, it is not a trivial set of questions. You are fair person and your reply is the proof. Thanks anyway and your opinion is always welcome.
