I just made a post on steemit about resizng images, but it just vanished from my blog

in #steemit7 years ago

Anyone here know why this happened or how can i see my post again?
I can't understand why it happened. It was a good post and had to do a lot of work.
I wonder if it was censored, but it had nothing more than a trick to resize your images.

Sorry to hear that buddy. It might be a network issue (Blockchain not wifi) as I'm pretty sure steemit isn't censored. You'd need to get downvited first. And even then I think you'd still see your post.

I would suggest copying your post to a word file (or something similar) before posting, so you have a backup. Or maybe save as draft first. I use the esteem app andnthat always saves where you left off. If you start a new post it uses your last post as a template.

I know none of these help with the issue you're having now. But it might save you in the future.

Please do your post again. Quality content is always appreciated in here.

Steem On 👍

Thanks bro,
I appreciate your help.
I'm already doing it again, but this time i'm making a backup.

I have occasionally seen where people work for hours on a post and hit post, only to have it disappear.

In fact, here was someone else saying the exact same thing

Don't be so quick to decide that your post was deleted.

Steemit is still in Beta.

Yeah, it has to do with some blockchain issue.
I love this community and doesn't want to leave it.

Stick with it.

I'm certain enough that it will continue to grow and improve to tolerate some inconveniences in the short term.

I've also started writing posts in Word and then cutting & pasting when it's finished, just to keep it from happening.
