BOYS WILL BE BOYS AND SANCTITY OF ADULTS.
At the swimming pool today, five 12-13 year-old kids were sitting down on the sink and throwing wet toilet paper at the walls, hitting doors and blocking the toilets, while the adults looked at it without saying anything. It was me who went to reception to powerlessly complain about watching such cowardly adults let kids act so badly.
Boys will be boys! I was naughty when I was a boy and I was told off when I did something wrong! But we are grown up now
This blog is not complaining about kids but complaining about some adults!
what kind of adult are we?
There are some adults who would actually do something to stop this kind of behaviour, sadly to say there are many MORE adults out there who would just walk away and do nothing!
Unfortunately there are some children in this country that think it's okay to engage in low level anti social behaviour. This is a result of parents that are either too busy, too stoned or too ignorant to care.
Let's not blame the UK laws where parents are scared to discipline their kids as they could be charge with abuse. I know kids are very aware of their right because children have the power now, yes the law is on their side as that’s how it has to be not to let aggressive parent abuse them!!
It’s not about laws, the kids act depends on how their parents brought them up
However some youngsters are pleasant, helpful and sociable - some because of their parents, some in spite of their parents.
In my experience this is a lose lose scenario. If you try to correct the children you can get yourself in a big mess. If you even bring it to the parents attention you are in the same boat. In general (but not always) kids behaving like this have parents that behave like this on an adult level. As we cannot throat punch them we are left with hauling off and giving them the dirtiest look we can muster. That will teach them!
