[New users] Let me tell you why you should be upvoting content you like instead of posts that will payout big

There are a lot of people on Steemit who upvote to increase their SP, and so to do that they upvote posts that will have big payouts. This is fine, except most users don't have enough SP to make SP off voting. I have 4k SP in my account and my account increases in SP faster when I do nothing than if I was focusing on voting several hours a day. So you might as well vote for content you like.
