Where Should We Go from Here?

COVID19, is a pandemic spreading itself to most of the countries. Several waves have hit Malaysia, our country. Besides, the people do face economic and political challenges. Confronted by the unpredictable future, it is easy to make the people feel like they don’t know where to go.

According to the Bible, we know that God has given us freedom. However, the phenomena of the world do imply that the world has misused its given freedom. A lot of time, we tend to focus too much on our temporary well being. Naturally looking at the current situation, we can easily be bewildered and disappointed. In fact, according to God's eternal plan, His plan is amazing and meant for our good forever. Even though we can't see Him, He is not far away from us. As long as we turn to Him, there is hope.

We cannot fully comprehend the situation we are facing, but we can trust God who has created the world. He remembers us and has a wonderful plan for us. Although we cannot see every detail of the different stages of life, we can have a glimpse of our future through His Words.

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.”
