RE: A Letter To My Grandchildren Living In A Post-Trump/Hillary America
I commend this letter, as a father of two kids I want to cry when I think about what the world will be like when they are 40 or when their kids are 40. People do not care anymore about anything. No one cares about how the country and even the world got divided, they just accepted the fact and picked a side with no real reason why. To many people think that just one voice is not going to change anything but they don't understand that one voice is all it takes to start a revolution and a chain reaction.
I agree. I think a major problem with this generation (mine) is a lack of forward thinking. We don't stop to think what "free healthcare" and more governement will mean to our world in 50 years. We have to think of those who come after and what we're leaving behind for them.
Most people have a sense of entitlement that they should get whatever they want without putting the work in, I see that a lot here as a first time poster is expecting to get hundreds of votes and hundreds of steem power.
