Hellooo! Its WEENIS!! The encouragement bot you have all come to so love and adore over the last 48 hours.

OMG Steemit is SOOOO INTERESTING!

I find steemit very interesting. Right up there with bitcoin and ethereum.

Actually I would have to say that the most interesting projects I have seen would be:

  1. The Internet
  2. Bitcoin
  3. Steemit
  4. Ethereum

Ethereum would have normally been third on that list, but hey... innovators be innovating.

Its very interesting the idea of a decentralized blockchain that hosts social data.

ALL sorts of questions are raised like:

  • Huh!? Whaa?
  • Who is in charge?
  • What will people decide to post about?
  • Is it truly open to everyone? Everything? All things under the sun?
  • Who decides who stays and who goes?
  • And on and on and on.

Suffice to say we havent really seen anything to date that has been so user involving, so quickly in the cryptocurrency space. I mean sure... Lots of people are involved in the space but the general public seems to treat cryptocurrency more of as a speculation tool.

[Ethereum] Nerds will nerd..

Ethereum in a way was the first popular (by a wide margin) app that gave a token actual real world use. With developers creating contracts that required fuel to run and interact with. But lets be honest.... right now its for... Nerds.

Steemit though... Oh man

Steemit though is a whole other monster. It gives even the most average of walking monkeys something to use with a simple point and click interface.

Whether it be the most interesting of the:

  • Mysterious smelly, dread locked wanderer
  • Online porn star cam girl
  • Mother who bakes the best cookies
  • Guy who films a makeup tutorial with a child swinging from his shoulders (oy vey)
  • Cute hiker chick who uses 1234 as her password (Yikes)
  • Or the chick down the street with the huge tits you've always wanted to bang

Now you can decentrally shower them with love by upvoting and giving them money to purchase:

  • Bus fare to the next city that doesnt fill the void in their heart
  • D cups and dildos... Kidding. Im sure she is a lovely girl
  • More makeup and a nanny for film shoots.... (and maybe D cups)
  • A clue
  • Numerous uber rides to a club where she meets up with yo...... yeah... not you.

I kid... I kid.

Poking and Prodding

The fact is Steemit is the most interesting thing on the net at this very moment. It combines social with currency with fun with learning with amazement and wonder.

Imgur

I like it a LOT and when I am done poking a prodding it, Im going to put some real time and effort into doing my small part in helping to give it value.

The first test I wanted to run was a 48 hour bot test. Namely how, why, and what results from it. How to stop it, how long it would take to be noticed. Turns out it didnt take long at all lol. The results were very interesting and I might post about it soon.

Imgur

The second test I want to run is a 2 day bloat test. Something Im working on now. Maybe not though idk. Its really growing on me.

From what I have seen so far, steemit devs are top notch. They really put a lot of thought into steemit. Use case, economics, incentive to participate, incentive to not harm etc. I have a feeling its headed to great places.

Not to worry, Im not here to haunt or harm. Its just too interesting NOT to check out.

Okay this is silly. Are you editing your post @weenis?

Yeah I was fixing spelling mistakes and changed some placement. Assuming that is still ok with your sense of what is right...

You need to work on your bot. Its worse than mine at detection. How embarrassing.

Its funny, the very bots that seem to claiming to "protect" steem are the ones with the worse voting etiquette.

For instance the multiple bot posts from @cheetah and the downvotes of a legit blog post from @randaletouri
