Today, while on the bus, I witnessed an amazing act of humanitarianism, a tall man who overdosed on drugs and / or suffered from some mental disorders, behaved very aggressively, making uncoordinated movements, cursing, shouting, etc.
And while everyone froze with fear, this seventy-year-old woman reached out and held his hand in her grip until he was completely calmed down and he sat down quietly, with tears in his eyes. After this whole incident, I talked to her and she just said, "I'm a mother and he needed someone to touch him." And she started to cry. Let's not be afraid or judge strangers on the bus. Life is not kind to everyone.
