Is Steemit Going To Make Cellphone Novels Popular Again?

IMG_9434.JPGI think a bunch of us remember cellphone novels. I don't know if its still popular but it was popular in 2007. One novel was soo popular, it sprouted 5 mangas, a TV show and a Movie.(https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_Love)
Now these cellphone novels used to spread through word of mouth and sms texts. But now you can do that with social media but using that they won't get any rewards and anyone can blatantly steal it even if it was copyrighted. The authors wouldn't feel motivated to write new chapters as they have no gain in doing so. I mean we all know how Facebook handles copyright claims. They don't do shit. But in steemit you at least have @cheetah. Also if that doesn't work steemit can create something like novel.steemit.com and get some related features. I think this can also be beneficial to steemit, suppose they allow you to read the first chapter but to read the second chapter you have to have an account, this can get steemit a lot of new users. These novels were very popular in China, Korea, Japan, South Africa. We already have a steemit fiction topic and there are some korean stories/novels in there. If we share these with our other social media accounts, then we can get a lot of new users and a lot of new good content. Were these novel that popular? You ask? Yes, yes they were. I-maho land a japanese cellphone novel site used to get 3.5 billion views in each month.

I think this can help steemit and steemians. Also I think the topic fiction should be changed to steemit novels, but hey thats just me. Anyway leave your thoughts in comment section.
