A plea to all the Kind-hearted Steemians out there and Rupaya Members

in #steemit7 years ago

Hi fellow Steemians

I appeal to you today to help me recover quite a bit of money that I lost due to Yobit.com full of Shyte.
I will get straight to the point. I heard about masternodes and did my research (apparently not well enough) so I headed over to Yobit and bought approximately 0.3 BTC worth of RUPX coins. I then tried to withdraw these coins and that is when I saw that the wallet was under maintenance. I spoke to some people in the RUPX community and they had informed me that they tried multiple times to sort it out with Yobit but Yobit was not coorperating. I ended up selling all those coins for approximately 0.06 BTC. I used this to buy NEO and eventually Steem Dollars which I am going to convert to Steem and then power up.

I do not blame the RUPX community at all. In fact, after speaking to some of them on discord I realized they have a pretty great community. I would still love to get a Rupaya masternode and this is why I appeal to all those rupaya members to help me out.

I have attached proof of all the transactions below.
Furthermore, I would like to add that I will be using all the money raised from this post as Steem power and hopefully in that way I can help others out in the future.
I want to thank everyone in advance and I really do appreciate all your help.
I basically want to recover my money and it would be a bonus if the RUPX community could help me out with a masternode.

Sorry to hear that. I was once victimized by Yobit in yhe past on my 1337 Elite coin. I cannot withdraw it and the wallet was maintenance for 6 months and I cannot help myself but to sell it to Bitcoin and withdraw it. I am sorry to hear that also happens to you but we all learned our lesson the hard way.

Interesting .. I liked your criticism
For more creativity and good work guys
Great post..

This is really a good initiative. Anyway, sorry for the loss. I hope you recover your money soon!

Exchanges really do need to be regulated. I see a lot of weird things on the exchanges already. For instance those that allow shorts inexplicably have highs overshoot the highs everywhere else and lows fall below all lows just so they liquidate their customer's shorts and longs. I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that unregulated markets will likely not work. This is partly why the crypto market is in the state it is in today.

self regulation will work, no other way to do it, you cant control the internet buddy, peopel will set up exchanges and the shitty ones like yobit, will just loose customers

i never use yobit, do you? why did he? He shoudl have stuck with steem!

i am glad steem helped him out and i hope he uses this sbd and SP to actually invest back into Steem and sees that if steem was cool enough to upvote him to $500 (even if he bought the upvotes) he should actually keep this all on steem!

Im glad hes getting help! Hope he recovers!

I agree with you...

Hope you will sort this out and find support !
Take care

This is the reality of yobit exchange.
I had also went to the same situation when I used to trade on yobit
I bought bitok coin on yobit @0.0001 Satoshi value and when I tried to withdraw coin from yobit's account bitok wallet was under maintaince and today value of bitok coin is 0.00000001
Massive loss
I would like to say avoid these kind of shit exchanges like yobit

I think your decision is right. after all this things happen you can control your emotion that really appreciate. I hope everything gonna be ok and you can get more whatever you loose.

I wish you luck in resolving this problem!

Best of luck friend.

There are many more exchanges that offer this coin. If you check on coinmarketcap you can see there are exchanges like cryptobridge, trade stoshi and a few others.
