My Return to Steemit

Good Morning, Good Afternoon, and Good Evening to all my fellow Steemers around the globe.

I know I have not posted much so not many people know me as yet, however I plan to change that. I have been away for a while due to a series of unfortunate, bizarre, and traumatic events. I shall not bore you with a long story but to be honest I missed Steemit. I was basically away from the crypto-currency world, until my friend asked me about the BTC and ETH price...and that triggered it. I knew I had to come back. I hope you don't mind this post. It's not really informative or funny but I remember how friendly you all are. The question about the BTC and ETH sparked my curiosity and I had to go check the price. I stared at those prices in shock considering I last paid attention to it about 6 months ago. However, my point is I know many people have lost faith in Steemit and many people criticize it (mostly the ones driven by money) but I still believe that their is a wonderful and thriving community of artists, writers, musicians and the rest that are not primarily driven by monetary gains.

I must be honest, when I first began on Steemit in November of 2016 I was attracted by the potential lucrative gains. After posting a few times as you may see, I was overwhelmed with what I could earn with just one article. Then...I started to read all the opinions of pessimists and it discouraged me a bit. Then...Shit happened and I lost touch. BUT... my recent experiences have made me re-evaluate a few things. I promised you a short story and got a bit carried away. So allow me to wrap up.

I am back with a new spirit... a new hope...and I want to have fun on Steemit as well as contributing awesome content and make the odd STEEMIT where I can. This is post of sincerity so please be merciful with the comments =))
