BJJ, #1 Anti-depressant
Here is a picture of me getting a third strip on my purple belt. I love BJJ but I haven't been able to train lately. I find myself putting in late hours at work and then having to tend to my daily duties outside of work. I still manage to squeeze in at least one training session a week but that's nothing considering I use to train everyday. However I was still in collage and didn't have the same obligations as today. When I don't get to train I feel depressed and isolated from the world. Since I have my own office at work I don't interact with many people throughout the day. Jiu-Jitsu like many say is my “outlet,” from life. Even though I work all day. BJJ is still always, ALWAYS, on the back of my mind. The mats my home and my teammates my brothers and sisters.
Jits is def my outlet and escape from real life!
most ppl that train start to get edgy if they can't train for awhile
