I left my shoe...twas filled with hay...a little straw and carrots too.
I left my shoe--twas in the way---upside down by foyers end.
I left my shoe--for I was told---he would come and leave me gold.
I left my shoe...for they did say...his horse loved, his carrot hay.

Filled with hay and carrots too,
his horse did race him to the shoe.
As he reached the foyers end,
a slip a trip a nasty spin.
a crashing sound that had no end.

Nice or not I do not know,
but that shoe did catch me gold.
To the net I did run,
to show my friends all the fun.
