Boring: Founding Docs; Exciting: Tropical Photos!!! Accepting Input on Both

Hello Steemians! @rubellitefae here with my first SteemIt.City update. Businesses, co-ops, NGOs—any long-term organizations—need to have certain concepts put to paper. Sometimes this is for legal reasons, but more often than not it keeps everyone moving in the same direction. Keeping in mind the collaborative nature of SteemIt and SteemIt.City we'd like to get feedback on these foundation documents.

This stuff is a bit boring to go through, so there's reward photos at the end. 😉

The SteemIt.City community has assembled under the Concept that people living in a cooperative community live richer and happier lives. Modernly, many people are not well served by their incidental neighbourhoods. An intentional, collaborative community accords each individual a sense of belonging, enhances their ability to contribute to the well-being of others, and reduces their personal mundanities which, in turn, engenders more productivity, satisfaction, and leisure.

Our Mission is to enable people to increasingly follow their passions. We do this through professional networking, cooperative living, mutually beneficial quid pro quo (surely someone can think of a better way to say, "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours."), collaborative solutioneering (brainstorming), and general merriment. SteemIt City is founded on the economic principle of facilitating exchange via SteemIt cryptocurrencies.

Our short-term Objective is to operate a financially solvent co-housing tech incubator with capacity for 10 ~ 20 full-time members and 2 ~ 4 guest rooms in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Our long-term Vision to build a scalable, homeostatic society comprised of businesses, co-ops, organizations, and individuals who share our Values and for the members of this society to impact positive change through research & innovation, education & mentorship, and exemplification.

• Create slick persuasion presentation by end of October.
• Develop marketing strategy by end of November.
• Have building, utilities, ISP, & new member on-boarding settled by end of December.
• Have 10 people confirmed, 6 already moved in, by the end of January.
