We are a dot on the globe, that is a dot in the universe, as the stars are dots that to human view can represent any kind of figures. So isn't that strange as an art expression to use dots. Pointillism is a technique that has turned upsidedown the concept of painting, before the colors where mixed together on a palette to create chemically a new color, instead pointillism use dots of pure color, the blend is created by the viewer’s eye, we can see a more striking image thanks to our mind. The amazing skills and the art piece of @taifavre are a clear expression of creativity and rigor, refined technique combined with expressiveness. It is incredible how thousands of dark dots are entrapping the lights and shadows, giving life to the subject. There are no line to follow with the eyes and our mind interact actively to put together all the dots, searching in our memories, trying to recognize a figure we understand.
