It's almost been a year since I got dumped. 3 years and he got another girl (Ikr? what an ass) And I have not been sober for a long time. I got dumped summer time and I drank EVERYDAY. Not even kidding. At first it was to forget yea? Alcohol gives the perfect excuse to act out in a way, be wild and all that jazz. But it actually came to a point where I actually enjoyed drinking with my friends. Not to forget, but to enjoy the company I keep.

My friends and their words helped me through it, and of course the alcohol. I believe that it's okay to fall apart, to burst, to break down, it's only human. People have different ways to cope, and whatever it is they want to do, it's all part of the healing process.
