The use of the telephone in children is increasing. It is the parents themselves who leave their phones to the children to keep them entertained and calm. Actually, this resource of the parents is not very educational for the children, and turns them into dependent children of the telephone. The use of the telephone can cause bad behavior in children. It is understood that it is one of the measure of the parents, in which the small children of 4-5 years are stuck to the phone, watching the cartoons or any type of animation, with the intention that they remain silent without disturbing and thus be able to leave a quiet time for parents
On the one hand, they learn that the phone is cool and there is nothing more fun, and on the other, they learn that the worse they behave, the better reward comes, which is the mobile, so it is not uncommon to find parents saying:
"Only the mobile calms him down" ".... for my son, do not worry I carry the tablet and it stays silent
What can we do?
Pedagogically I suggest the following:
Leave the mobile phone to young children for small periods of time, as something magical and extraordinary, and not so much as a single resource so they do not disturb.
You have to know that they are children, and children are annoying: they sing, they get dirty, they cry, etc ... It is preferable for your child to do things as a child than to generate in them a habit based on the mobile. We have to be prepared to live and live with the little ones.
Be careful because the child can learn to behave badly in order to get the reward, which is that mom or dad will leave their mobile or tablet.
