Steem is taking its rightful position in the Big Boys (Bitcoin , Ethereum, EOS ) top league
We all know that steem blockchain has the most real life use among other top cryptocurrencies - even though its price remains undervalued, however this is a good reason to gradually increase your steem power before it is too late.
On the other hand, many top investors and institutions are noting the developments at steem ecosystem- especially the upcoming SMT and hardfork 20 including value the updates will bring to the ecosystem-plus being home to many new innovative apps.
Most recently , Huobi exchange listed steem on top of the big boys (Bitcoin , EOS and Ethereum) see below.

This is actually a pretty big deal. The Huobi exchange is currently the 4th largest exchange on the planet in terms of volume. Steem currently doesn't get near as much exposure as many of those coins ahead of it.It currently sits at number 26 in terms of market cap. Any time it can get exposure like it is currently getting on the Huobi exchange, that is a good thing and hopefully leads to more adoption and higher prices in the future.
This development sends a clear message that the top exchange knows the underlying future value of steem ecosystem and thus want to enter the vibe (including giving its members the opportunity) before it is too late. In light of these positive developments :
Be Proactive: are you seating on the fence waiting for millions before joining the vibe? In fact, you can gradually grow your steem by blogging, commenting, voting and or buying steem (no matter how much) and powering up. @charles1 I believe that we're just in the beginning phase of steemit. With more and more people joining the platform every week it is only a matter of time before we will see mass-adoption. More people joining in and more exposure will drive the price of STEEM up because everybody will want to have as much STEEMPOWER as possible, and will therefore try to purchase STEEM. This will most likely result in a bubble, steem being over-valued. Yet that doesn't mean that bubble necessary has to burst. And even if it does, I believe prices will after that slowly rise back, as we usually see happening, like for instance with bitcoin. With STEEM we haven't even begun to see the top, both in user adoption or value, and those of use on the platform now are gonna see things beyond our imagination!

I am very glad that I did keep on engaging when the price of Steem did drop. Lots of people did not put enough effort anymore in being active. But due to this I could tripple my SP holdings. They forgot that the reward pool was still the same and because lot less people were active it was easier to get a share of the reward pool and it was a lot easier to get noticed!
I will probably never become a whale, orca or dolphin but I do enjoy myself here. Hopefully I will reach minnow status before the end of the year. Still 356 SP needed!

I completely agree after entering houbi pro exchange steem weightage has been increased. Houbi pro does only give steem a priority over other cryptos but also converting steem into direct stable currency USD. Steem won the trust of 4 the biggest exchange on the planet. Hopefully other will also follow the foot steps of houbi pro. Steem block chain is the fastest block chain already convinced many super Giants to convert into block chain technology so in my 2 cents opinion it is an ideal time to invest in Steem either by blogging, commenting or investment. Let's hope for the best @charles1

Steem I feel is still very undervalued. When you talk about use case I think about the ocassional thread in 4chan's business and finance board about how Steemit has literally the only coins that do something.
I'm still on my way to grow my SP knowing we actually use crypto more than most (besides daytraders). Houbi listing is fantastic, and hopefully only the beginning.

Well, it's about time Steem becomes more appreciated. There's so many users here, so many great apps being created, and the technology and speed tops most cryptos, yet Steem is still so undervalued for such a long time. I think a lot of exposure is coming our way, because people are starting to notice Steem and its capabilities!
