The Valuable Reward Of Trust

People rarely trust on each other. And that's understandable. Every mind is a unique world and there might some hidden interests, or the other person doesn't respond as we hope to. The latter can be misleading because I'm referring to pay the same way the other person is treated.

So, in the myriad of things that often cloud our mind to identify true and honest people, we sometimes overlook some creatures that give us their trust, and it's the most valuable gift they could offer. And I'm talking about animals.

Some of them might be wild, but once the miracle comes true, because it's a miracle, they show you how grateful they are.

It's just like entering into intimacy of their being, and in a way, we find they had a reserved spot for us there.

It's not about feeding. It's about gratitude.

Some people say that animals are good to us because we feed them. However, that's kind of simplistic. There's no such a thing as worthless moments in the animal kingdom. They are very true to themselves - the only creatures that are this way in the planet.

Thanks god they don't have hidden motives. Though they are reactive and respond just as the way they are treated, they can have ability to trust other species.

We normally draw conclusions based on fear. We sometimes mistakenly misunderstand the attitude of an animal. Naturally, there are some that are dangerous like the lion, or tiger because it's inside their nature. But they don't attack for pleasure. They do it for basic needs - hunting and protection.

But we can even win the trust of those wild animals. Check out the video below.

They care for us no matter who we are

The first moment they show their love to us, we realize that they love us no matter in the current condition we're in. We can be poor or rich, bald or long hair, tall or short, employed or unemployed. There's no separation or discrimination when they decide to trust in us. They don't profile as humans do. They're loyal and show their feelings as they are.

It's not printed into them. We could wrongly give different interpretations - all related to the lack of reasoning. But actually, if we study the mental constitution of animals, the underlying treat is their basic reactions.

Thus, if we can win any animal's trust, we must assume that we just thrill basic instincts, provoking a favorable reaction towards us. And this definitely is something extremely difficult to do.

The gift they offer

When an animal gives us its trust, it's just welcoming us to a private realm that was just created for them. So easy and disinterested it is the event that sometimes other people who witness this miracle can't help but feeling surprised when an animal interact in a deep and profound way with a person.

That's a moment we sometimes don't comprehend. And we end up baffled by the scene. Some of us just laugh because most of these situations are tender just like the lions in the video above. And sad thing is that we let the opportunity pass by to do some self-criticism about how primitive we still are.

Their trust is precious

Some time ago I wrote a post about a cat that was wandering in the vicinity of my neighborhood. Since that day we somehow created a bond. Of course, I was nice to him, I fed him and patted him. And whenever he hears my voice, he comes at once. And not because I can give him some food, he just stays around following me, or just lie down by my side.

There are people who come, and give him food, but he never stays longer as the necessary to gobble up. And it's because trust has not been earned yet.

It's their precious reward, and they don't give it away so randomly.
