Learning at home is different from school. Learning at school is tired up with places, times, schedules, curriculum, & so on. As for educating children at home applies every day, even every time. Actually there are many daily events that are the entrances of all elements of education that want to given. Therefore we must strive for all not to be missed. We need to know & apply various methods so that every second of our togetherness with a child can be a valuable learning for him. With the accumulation of learning methods is expected to educational process will take place every time, without children feel kept patronized & parents do not feel burdened. With the hope of God, hopefully we will achieve success.

Among these methods include:

1. Exemplary Method

A good example of shalih is the most important tool in education. It has a huge influence. Parents are the highest examples for children. Children will still follow the behavior & morals, whether intentionally or not. If he is always honest in speech & evidenced by actions undoubtedly the child will grow up with all the educational principles embedded in his mind. With the example, a child will learn with something real. It will be more easily absorbed by the soul.

With the example, a child will learn the prayer & pursue it when he sees his parents are diligently doing it every time, as well as other worship. With the example, a child will grow up with the praiseworthy & good qualities he gets from his parent or teacher.
Conversely, discrepancies between speech and deeds will be toxic in education. For example, a child who sees his father lying will not learn the truth from him. Just as a girl who sees her mother is not impervious to advice, then do not expect her to grow up to be an easy child to be counseled by her mother.

2. Guidance & Advice

Good advice includes the means of connecting one's soul quickly. Moreover, the advice we say sincerely from the bottom of our hearts deepest. Undoubtedly will give effect that directly in child's heart. For advice to bring about improvement, consider the following:

a. Repeat the advice, because human nature is forgotten, but do not be exaggerated so as to make the soul become bored.

c. Use words that are easy & understandable according to the child's age and ability to catch and reason.

3. Stories
Acts include an effective means of education. Because he can effect feelings strongly. Moreover, the true story, very big influence on the child's soul, can strengthen the child's memory & awareness thinking. A lesson will be easier to understand and understand by reason if illustrated by story. That is the story that accompanied the inspiration. 4. Taking Lessons From Various Events & Events

More intelligent educators desperately want the best education possible for their children will not let an event pass by without taking lessons from him to convey to his children. Because life is full of events & events. Humans will always meet these events while still living in the world. And life events are the most important means of education, because they have a great influence on the child. Take every occasion as direction, guidance, teaching, & means to straighten out mistakes. Take advantage of the right moment to knock his soul & affect his heart. When his feeling can record clearly so that valuable lessons go in his soul.

5. Method of Habituation
Get used to the child doing good. Because if a child is accustomed to doing it regularly, then he will become a habit. With habituation then a lot of affairs will be easy. Emphasize to them the habit of doing something good & bringing good luck to them in worldly and religious affairs. Whether it's worship, manner, speech, courtesy, daily routine, and so forth.

6. Make Use of Spare Time
Encourage children to fill their free time with goodness & something useful, so it is not penetrated by badness, damage, and misguidance. Provide correct direction in the path of goodness. Spend your time with the child, to accompany, guide, & move with them. So the child will be separated from the causes of deviation & damage, because too much empty time without knowing what to fill with.

7. Giving motivation
Give positive motivation to the child! Both motivations are concrete and maknawi. Encourage and encourage children to do things that are beneficial to the life of the world & the hereafter. Along with that keep exploring what is their talent & potential. Familiarize them to try hard & compete in a healthy way. Include the child in a positive race.

Child education in Islam begins with a good method of direction and invites children to noble values ​​full of patience. Even they are getting worse deviation even though it has been invited back to the straight path in a good & smooth way. In such circumstances we must take firm measures for the good of the child. That is by giving punishment. But the punishment must be balanced with good praise and reward.

Teaching with good speech & guidance is able to straighten out deficiencies & errors, give good discourse in their lives and familiarize them with kindness as well. By taking advantage of leisure time, the child is able to channel the potential of the body, the mind and feeling for something useful. Motivation will arouse spirits & healthy life competition and hone skills & skills. While sanctions only serve as a means of final control when all the above means and methods are not useful.
