You hit the point. I have been active in Steemit for about a month now and have just had this experience. The more people I follow and the more posts I write, the better the reputation. Through the engagement in different groups, I even got a delegation. I reinvest a large part of my rewards in PowerUp and Curation Trails. I'm really looking forward to SteemSavvy.
