How to keep preschool children working without them getting bored

Being in a classroom surrounded by children eager to learn is the most wonderful thing that can happen to a teacher, since he can apply his strategies more easily, achieving positive results in each of the children.

Not all children have the same capacity, and each of them shows at an early age what they like, that is why there are some children who get bored in the classroom, and this must be detected quickly by the teacher. Commonly they are lovers of paintings, puzzle games and songs. In some cases that are very few we also find children who like the art of music. We can always find children with hyperactivity, which only likes to be interrupting the work done by their peers.

The ages help us decipher the interest of each child

Children's work has a great influence on age, it is a link that allows us to place the necessary activities of each of them. We know that the child with an age of 3 years does not have the same creativity as a child of 5 years, and we find many teachers who forge children with activities not appropriate to their age.

  • 3 years: At this age he only wants to color and play, this would help us that the child can have a better skill in their hands and would allow to put into operation the psychomotor system of them.

  • 4 years: They are very interested in knowing the parts of your body, this allows the development of your language, in cases when you have a pain or some discomfort in the part of your body.

  • 5 years: Draw your family, this is so important because there they can express when their home is really dysfunctional, they usually draw very nice mom and very ugly dad or vice versa, this would give us a lot of reasons to describe the why of their behavior in the classroom.

  • 6 years: interest in reading, to reach this age the child has already burned some stages of creativity and is interested in reading or doing research by observing figures or images that call attention.

It should be noted that the ages are so important and we can not pass it for an apperception, from there it depends that the child can burn each of the stages that he wishes to perform at that moment.

Strategies to keep children in their activities

There are always times when the child gets tired or bored of the various activities that were assigned, that is why there are rooms where disorder predominates, this is due to the wrong strategies applied by some teachers.

  • The colors: It is one of the main objectives in the preschool stage, from there it depends that the child can differentiate the variety of colors that exist. When we put all the colors we can define that the child usually calls attention to the primary colors that are: yellow, blue, red and green, to name a few. This allows us to teach him, for example, the sky of what color it is? "Blue" is the moment when the child will be interested in asking what color is all those objects that surround it.

  • Coloring: At the time of coloring it is important to place them, part of nature so that they gradually identify with the environment that surrounds them. This would help keep them interested in trees, birds, sun, sky, moon, stars and clouds, they are the most common drawings they want to color.

  • Underline: This allows the child to keep giving shape to the different figures, then encourage them to color them and we would get as results two activities in which they do not get bored.

  • Sing: Allows the child to develop their linguistic part, and through the different songs we could name the part of our body allowing them to touch the place that the song describes. This way the child would keep moving and it would be less difficult to get bored.

  • The park: It is a very important area that can not be absent in any school, there they demonstrate among themselves competitions. This place would help them to have much more imagination at the moment of recreation, they become more creative and experienced, expressing their happiness with an outdoor smile.

It is necessary that the child not only stay in the classroom to learn, there is the area of the park, where you can also apply recreational activities that help them differentiate more nature and its colors. Every day they must go to that place so they do not feel so pressured in one place.
