Hi @ruth-girl, I have a question please don't laugh. When we heat tap water( with chlorine) does that evaporate to the air and also form chlorine gas or does the chlorine solidifies at the bottom of the kettle or pot?
Chlorine evaporates during boiling. It can also evaporate if you leave water out, boiling just speeds up the process.
