As we all know know how to program it has become very profitable these days, because technology boom many companies information technology are growing and demand for programmers on the market has grown, there are new entrepreneurs with innovative ideas are breaking paradigms.

But having so many programming languages with C #, Java, Python, Ruby, Php, C ++, why choose JAVASCRIPT. Well then I will present 4 reasons why you should choose JAVASCRIPT

As a recommendation they must have intermediate experience in HTML and CSS, we know that they are not programming languages, but their tags and properties will be used by this language.

1. It is easy to learn

Its use is simple, since to differences of many programming languages we have nothing to install or configure, it has no prerequisites, you can open a notebook and start working with it.

Its programming language is simple and you can start coding without having to learn a Framework unlike different languages such as C #, Ruby or Java, to other information about its architecture and components, as well as the development tools that help you to codify They are in the cloud within everyone's reach.

With JAVASCRIPT you can code your first program in a few minutes after having studied and motivates you to continue investigating more and to enter different Framework created under JavaScript as JQUERY and Angular.

Now to understand this programming language we must have well defined the following terms that are used in any programming language:

Variables, Matrices, Chains, Arrangements, Methods, Functions, Conditional, Objects, Inheritances and among many others, of which (I will make a post explaining only these terms used in the world of programming).

2. Versatility is your hallmark

The fact that JAVASCRIPT is easy to learn does not take away from the sophisticated and powerful. The beauty of this programming language is that it is multiparadigma does not have a unique style of programming and this enriches it every day more. Now I will describe one of its main characteristics:

• A traditional procedural language
• A functional language
• Imperative
• Dynamic in terms of types
• Event oriented
• Object oriented

3. It is everywhere.

Nowadays JAVASCRIPT can be found in any field of development, operating systems, mobile developments, internet servers, games, database and everything you can imagine.

This shows that its scope is incredible and shows you that with it you can develop in the field that you decide.

Here I leave a short sentence of Marc Andreessen (co-founder of Netscape Communications Corporation) "the Web is eating the world", and soon we will see JAVASCRIPT + HTML + CSS everywhere.

4. Whether you want it or not, you will end up using it.

If you are or want to become a major league programmer, it would be very strange if you did not use JAVASCRIPT, as this language will always be in the FRONT-END of what you do and will make your user experience better.

You can ignore this, but the world keeps turning and you will see how it turns more and more around JAVASCRIPT.

In conclusion, JAVASCRIPT is not the only programming language, but you must learn it and if you can start with it, then it will be much easier to understand another language and you can better complement your developments.

Greetings to all, I hope this post will be very helpful.

I agree Javascript is easy to learn. There also an explosion of interest in the language lately. It does help that you can run JS in the front and backend. How long have you been working with Javascript?

Hello, I'm totally in agreement with what you mention @epearson, I've been developing java script for more than 7 years, now I'm very involved in Angular.

We've built some Angular 1.5 UIs and now were building Ember 2 UIs. I've been looking at Vuejs for pet projects. There's a lot of activity in the JS community. It makes my head spin sometimes.
