As world continues to change, we cannot prevent different types of Natural Hazards that one specific country is experiencing everyday. These Natural Disaster may it be an Atmospheric Hazard which is caused by extreme weather conditions, Seismic Hazards which is caused by earthquakes or tsunami, Hydrological Hazard caused by floods, droughts and storms, Geological Hazards caused by landslides, soil erosion, mining and constructions, or other hazards caused by wildfires and volcanic activities. According to UN Environment Asia Pacific WorldRiskIndex of 2016, Philippines ranked at Top 3 in the 100 countries which is most vulnerable to natural disasters worldwide. This report highlights on the principles of Vulnerability, Level of Exposure and Resiliency to Natural Disasters.

Disaster after disaster, typhoon after typhoon, and floods after floods, Philippines is striving to surpass and at the same time recover from these Natural Disasters the country is often times facing. According to Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC), 80 typhoons are developed in our tropical waters and 19 of which enter in Philippines as the country is exposed to the tropical storms around the world. Moreover, from the Global Assessment Report of 2015, it was estimated that annual loss of US $7.893 Million was only spent to multi-hazard disasters around the country which is equal to 69% of the overall social expenditures of the Philippines. If we get to realize, what can this certain percentage can do on the future improvement, development and infrastructure in Philippines? If only this expenses can be reduced and later be alloted to other priorities of the country.
