If you are community minded (regular and maximum possible power-ups, upvoting others even when your SP is small, commenting, delegating when you can, setting beneficiaries for your rewards etc) and post quality posts, you will receive support. In fact if you are community spirited you will find many more ways to support others. Those who don't receive support are those who are not community minded, post poor quality post and think for themselves only.

Why should those with a lot of SP help someone who is selfish and do not wish others well? If they do support such selfish people, then Steem platform will never progress because there are more than enough selfish people to drain away their voting power.
