A Trip to the Best Halo-Halo in the Province

Yesterday, after various exhausting meeting in the Office of the Mayor we decided to take a short trip going to Gingoog City to search for the "Mouth Watering Halo-Halo".

Halo- Halo is a combination of fruits, ice, milk and other ingredients and other ingredients. Its a Filipino favorite snack specially during summer.

Our 1 hour journey started witnessing the majestic mountains of Claveria. We need to traverse Mt. Balatukan to get there. A road trip that will surely relieve our stress. The road are completely concrete because its considered as secondary national highway. If you wanted to take a shortcut from Gingoog City via Claveria to CDO dont hesitate to drive in 955 Road. We also passed by the famous. "Great Wall of Claveria" as its resembles the Great Wall of China but its only a riprap structure to prevent erosion of soils

It only takes one hour to visit the City og Gingoog and dubbed as " The City of Good Luck" due to its various bussiness oppurtunitues that they offer. As we closely arrived in the city we are also approaching in the foot of the mountains of Claveria. The vast cloud formation will surely makes you say " Wow".

We arrived in the City and look for the Halo- Halo that will surely takes away our bitterness. I am amazed by lots of people visiting the place and eanted to taste their halo-halo.

The stall is named RIETS HALO-HALO located near in Gingoog Public Market. As they served their halo-halo I cannot wait to taste and experience the best of the city.

The halo halo is a mix of finely crushed ice, leche flan, ice cream, and as yoi dig down you will taste ube, jack fruit, coconut, sago, and gulaman. The taste will likely brings you to cloud 9 and heavenly taste that will surely makes you ask for more.

After tasting their Halo Halo we went home and again in my mind I will surely come back and hopefully with you my fellow Steemians. I will love to tour you around the City of Good Luck .

As we went home we were welcome by a beautiful sunset. Telling us that we are already arrived in our town.
