Chinese scientists get the first quantum computer in the world

in #steemits7 years ago

China has managed to create the first quantum computer capable of overcoming in computing speed the most powerful computer in the world.

Although the world of computers is advancing at an ever-increasing pace, we are still finding some problems related, in large measure, to the design of many computers. However, in China they seem to have found a way to outdo themselves in the world of computers. Because if this country now has the most powerful super-computer ever known, a scientific team led by Pan Jianwei, quantum physicist of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as Europa Press reports, would have made a breakthrough in quantum computing.

This technology that far exceeds that used by today's computers, is nothing new. However, Pan's team would have been able to add a great power to the calculation of this type of computers through three different routes; Systems based on simple photons, ultra-cold atoms and superconducting circuits.

This would increase the current computing power up to 24,000 times. In this way, China once again imposes itself on the United States in this sector, once again after allocating more than 150,000 million dollars in the development of superconductors.omr.jpg
