Our Week 29 2nd prize winner moves up in the ladder to #1 with a sandwich of epic proportions. There's a whole lot of Polish meats going on here which i must confess I'm lovin'. Polish is in my blood and I do enjoy a good sausage and of course bacons. This triple threat Polish creation hit home.
I enjoyed the cultural push on this 1 as you can see and there were a few interesting gems to be found in this entry such as homemade sauerkraut, breadfruit and smoked cheese.
It may not have been the most beautiful lookin' sandwich, however it was probably among the tastiest of the week and exploding with greatness.
all in all a good entry.

Perhaps taking some inspiration from or paying homage to the classic club sandwich style, this beauty of a sandwich rocked my world. I cannot seem to get over how pretty it was lol. It just looked so very perfect and artisan with Great colours. Pictures were clear and high res and represent the food well. Big fan of the tomato garnish too.
Good use of combining store bought ingredients such as the dips and sauces to create something distinct. Fresh Chicken looked so good too! I'm also a big fan of bell peppers on sandwiches. Adds a bit of crunch, sweetness and freshness
All in all a great entry, points for the spicy cheddar

@jeffjagoe - no stranger to SSC Jeff never falters. This epic mama's meatloaf sandwich was splendid. Load on the mashed potatoes, smoked cheddar and prosciutto, the broccoli and bam you've got an epic manwich.
@intrepidsurfer - yet another manwich killa who's made a splash in SSC. This triple burger manwich topped with pineapple among other strange ingredients was a smash. He's also donating SBD he makes and planting trees with it so, he's winning the hearts of beautiful Steemians everywhere!
@steemit-foodie's husband who we will dub "@sloppyjoe" proved that his wife is not the only sandwichteer in their household. When challenged to make a sandwich by the legend herself, he stepped up with this respectable entry worthy of recognition. Featuring a good smorgasbord of sloppyness on one side he also complimented the ugly with some great lookin' spicy salami and cheddar.
@lizelle - This week there were so many good entries it's a shame I could not ft. them all. There was one however that I just couldn't leave out and have thus thrown in some extra Steem to cover a now periodic 4th "Outstanding Achievement Prize." I just loved the innovation on this french toast-esque creation. Filled with healthy veggie ingredients and then fried up. Dam even through in her favourite smoked salmon cream cheese lol.

@jaybird: I select the winners based on a variety of parameters. Just do your thing and have fun with it. I'm considering many factors such as presentation, ingredients & originality, creativity, community opinion & artistic ability just to name a few. PLEASE make sure to follow the rules! They are easy to follow and help prevent the tragedy of Null entries!
There are now 3 prizes. First Prize = roughly 50% of the prize pool
Second Prize dubbed the "Veto Vote" = roughly 30% of the prize pool + the honour of selecting the following weeks second prize winner. This prize is ideally given to an entry that although it did not win the contest, showed distinction among all the other entries. This could be a feature such as it was the community favourite, it used the most bazaar ingredients, or, it was just the best looking sandwich etc. IMPORTANT! The "Veto Vote" holder may not vote on his or her own sandwich to be selected as the second prize. However, they are still eligible to win First Prize should they enter the contest that week.
Third Prize will be roughly 15% of the prize pool
Roughly 5% of the pool goes towards the "Outstanding Achievement Awards"

IMPORTANT! "Veto Vote" holders must always present their final selection to @jaybird in confidence and allow the news to be revealed in an officially "Who Won Steemit Sandwich Contest" blog post. Deviation from this method will result in a forfeit of the Veto Vote and thus, the selection will be consider null and a new winner will be chosen by @jaybird.
Veto Voters can contact @jaybird through or Steemit.chat username: jaybird or discord jaybird#4732 . If for whatever reasons, the Veto Vote winner does not select an entry in the following weeks contest, I will be the default second prize selector for that week.

I am also hungry... i’ve been battleing this condition called hunger since childhood. It’s apparently impossible to overcome this condition for longer than a few hours. It’s a recurring ailgment you must endure and live with and that u seem to have it for life!
