Wretched Man I Am {Poem}
I have earned it all
I have become sore relaxed in my comfort,
seeming so awakened in my distress,
Seamlessly sold my heart to lust,
in my mind have I betrothed my soul to wickedness,
Now so blind, so weak, so lost.
Once so near, but now have turned too far.
Your love has grasped me like hot chocolate steamed with milk tea,
Stirring my heart to sentiment like a romantic garden with a thousand roses,
whitish coffee foam formed to fill over my tentative imperfection.
O wretched man I am
I wist not how I could to such love lose taste.
But now my restless soul lays untamed and helpless,
My pride is a mountain of arrogance waiting on the cliff for a landslide,
justly have I fallen into the valley of shame,
I owe thee for thy selflessness
And hearken to understanding my state of helplessness.
