Your Birth

Total surrender,
the need to give in,
To trust in my body,
to trust all within.
This ancient knowledge
that we all hold inside
that allowed me
to birth you,
to bring you earthside.
We danced together
our bodies in sync,
no need for my rational mind to think.
My voice making sounds,
that opened me up,
you entered my world
and with you,
so much love did erupt.

I consider myself to be a intermediate poet.

I have never had any input with my poetry before, it has always come straight from my heart, on to paper and more recently here on to steemit
